About The Wheaten Health Endowment
The SCWTCA Endowment, Inc. dba Wheaten Health Endowment was established in 2001 by the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America, Inc. for the purpose of supporting research related to the health of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. We have funded grants and provided matching funds for grants approved by the American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation. The SCWT Database builds on those projects and supports our mission by providing a tool for collecting comprehensive data on Wheatens worldwide including their pedigrees, health history, genetic anomalies, and physical characteristics.
